Production Crew:

• responsible for overseeing the cast and crew during all phases of production
• responsible for the overall look of the film
• responsible for the business aspects of the film including budget, scheduling, and distribution

• jack-of-all-trades, assists in setting up shots for the director's approval, keeps track of actors, monitors safety, keeps energy level high

• the chief cinematographer
• responsible for assisting the director in planning the shots
• expert in camera techniques and lighting

• chief lighting electrician
• reports to the Director of Photography

• arranges equipment, props, elements of the setting and lighting, dolly, etc

• responsible for primary camera
• expert in camera techniques

• responsible for location sound-mixing and independent audio recording
• responsible for directing the boom operator

• operates the boom microphone as directed by the Production Sound Designer

• responsible for all details of continuity from one shot to another (such as actor's appearance, lines of dialogue, camera position, prop placement, etc)

• assistant to the producer
• may be required to double as Craft Services by arranging to pick up meals

• manages the primary production location

• manages projectors and computers used in various scenes

• scouts for film locations

• veteran actor or experienced director that assists the director in auditions

• assists in casting by signing-in actors, distributing sides (portions of the script), and introducing actors into the audition room at their appointed time
